Abstract

The rotary drum of a concrete mixer is mounted on a frame 11 supported by a pivot 9 which is inclined to the horizontal when the mixer is in the working position, whereby the drum can be swung through an arcuate path from a loading and mixing position 12 to a discharging position 12A, by a lever (29, Fig. 2 not shown) one end of which engages in notches 32 in a plate 33 to lock the drum in position. The drum is driven by an engine or motor 19 mounted on the frame 11. through gearwheels and/or belting.
