Abstract

1,160,458. Gas burners. A.S.W. APPARATENFABRIEK N.V. 23 Nov., 1967 [5 Dec., 1966], No. 53308/67. Heading F4T. A gas burner comprises a gas distributing chamber 10 supplied with gas via a pipe 2, the gas passing from chamber 10 through a main chamber 13 to main burner ports 5 and via orifices 16, 17 and chambers 14, 15 to auxiliary burner ports 8 and bridging burner ports 9, the main burner ports 5 being formed in a ridge 4 in an otherwise flat burner top surface 3 and the orifices 16, 17 being formed in parallel vertical walls 11, 12. The burner ports 8, 9 are formed in grooves 7 in the burner side walls 6, which walls diverge towards their base. The burner is formed from two sheets of a suitable material welded together. Other constructions also using two sheets of material are illustrated.
