Abstract

1,154,665. Heating and ventilating vehicles. SOC. ANON. ANDRE CITROEN. 31 May, 1967 [17 June, 1966], No. 25099/67. Addition to 1,131,460. Heading F4V. A car ventilating system comprises cold air supply nozzles at each end of the instrument panel and a hot air inlet separate from the cold nozzles, at the centre of the instrument panel. The cold air intake 60 leads via a duct 62 to cylindrical nozzles 54 whose output is controlled by shutters 51, 52. A branch duct 71 supplies cold air downwardly into the vehicle and its output is controlled by a shutter 72 operated by a lever 73. Hot air is supplied by a single duct 61 in a circuit leading from the engine, a nozzle 46 delivering the hot air from the centre of the instrument panel. A downwardly directed duct 75 delivers warm air at a lower level and is controlled by a lever 64 operating a shutter 63.
