Abstract

Spray apparatus suitable for use as industrial or domestic washing apparatus and adapted to spray a perfume or a skin treatment agent in liquid or powder form comprises a main liquid supply conduit 3 which supplies liquid to a pair of liquid conduits 7 and 9 controlled by valves 5 and (6), Fig. 3 (not shown), respectively, an inner chamber 13 communicating with the conduit 9 via passages 12 and terminating in a pair of superimposed grids 14, and an outer chamber communicating with the conduit 7 and terminating in an annular rose plate. The valves may be selectively operated to produce a discharge through the grids and/or the rose plate. The composition of the discharge may be varied by adjusting the valves. A removable cartridge 2 which may contain a washing liquid or a powder &c. is screwed into the body 1 of the apparatus and is connected to the liquid circuit 9, 12 and thus to the chamber 13 by an inlet tube 10 and outlets (11), Fig. 9 (not shown).
