Abstract

1,142,086. Attracted armature relays. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. 9 Nov., 1967, No. 51067/67. Addition to 1,063,145. Heading H1N. A relay, having a plurality of laminar armatures as in the parent Specification, has change-over contacts. Each armature normally engages one annular fixed contact and when the relay is energized changes-over to engage a second such contact which is magnetically coupled to the relay core (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown). Fig. 3 shows such an arrangement polarized by a permanent magnet 30 with an angularly adjustable shunt 31 to provide a magnetically held relay.
