Abstract

1,141,413. Swimming pool liner locking strip. HENDON CONSTRUCTION CO. 5 Sept., 1967 [13 Feb., 1967], No. 40609/67. Heading A4N. A locking strip for a flexible liner of a swimming pool comprises a vertically extending main portion 14 of rigid metal or plastic secured by suitable adhesive 16 to a side wall 10 of a swimming pool, a flange 18 also secured to wall 10, a pair of flanges 20 and 22 projecting from strip 14 outwardly in an acute angular relation thereto which pair of flanges define a restricted opening 32 and a projection 28 on flange 20. Opening 32 is arranged to slidably engage a rectangular resilient bead 34 protruding from liner 36 and bearing a lip 38 which engages in locking relationship with projection 28.
