Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for rainproof covering of a facade or the like to be renovated with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the sealing and holding strip for a tarpaulin provided according to the invention can be fastened to the attachment surface in a rainproof manner, even if it has a roughness which is not unusual for facades, and preferably with the aid of a series of screws.
- a receiving formation extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip is provided, into which an edge of the film to be connected to the strip is inserted.
- the strip itself creates a seal towards the mounting wall in such a way that rain falling there or above the mounting point cannot penetrate, not even as leachate through the mounting area, so also the inclusion of the corresponding edge of the tarpaulin in the mounting training not only serves as a holder the tarpaulin, but also a tight seal in this area, so that the façade, floor surface or the like located below the bar and thus the tarpaulin held by this strut is secured against the ingress of moisture.
- the admission training itself would then have no special requirements with regard to tightness. This approach fails, however, if the wind drives moisture along the tarpaulin towards the bar.
- the receiving formation has a groove-shaped receiving space which is undercut at least on one side to the narrowed longitudinal slot opening and in which the edge of the tarpaulin, which is thickened in accordance with the groove undercut, can be used, above all by running along the groove the edge is inserted into the groove-shaped receiving space.
- a correspondingly thickened edge of the tarpaulin for example by pulling in a cord or the like, can not only be held securely by the tensile force that the tarpaulin exerts on the bar the thickened edge seals against the surfaces that extend from the edges of the slot opening towards the inside of the slot.
- the groove is undercut on both sides with respect to the two edges of the longitudinal slot of the groove, but only an undercut is provided on one side, so that in the position in which the bar is in use, it is designed so that the associated edge of the groove bar forms a drip edge , which directs the rain onto the outward-facing surface of the tarpaulin.
- the receiving space is provided in such a way that its longitudinal slot lies in the front of the strip facing away from the mounting wall.
- the arrangement of the receiving training in general that is to say in particular in the form of a groove-shaped receiving space, has the fundamental advantage that nothing protrudes beyond the actual strip body which can be designed with smooth surfaces and which could be damaged in handling, transport or the like.
- the facade surface to be renovated located below the bar can be completed right up to the edge of the bar without any bar formations or tarpaulin removal being a hindrance.
- the groove-shaped receiving space is formed in a one-piece area of the strip, ie in a one-piece strip body, which can be achieved by extrusion when using plastic or aluminum or the like.
- a milling cutter provided with a corresponding head.
- the strip body is formed in two parts, such that the parting line between the two parts runs in the region of the groove-shaped receiving space.
- the attachment formation for attaching the sealing and holding strip to a wall above the facade or floor surface to be renovated can be provided in a simple manner through two or preferably a series of bores through which screws are guided, which can be fixed in the attachment wall by means of dowels .
- a reinforcement insert in the area of the bores, for example when the bar is formed from a hard rubber or similar plastic.
- the entire back of the strip in principle, it is conceivable to design the entire back of the strip, with which it rests against a wall in the fastening case, in such a flexible manner that it adapts to the unevenness of the wall and closes it watertight. It is also conceivable for the entire last body to be essentially made of such a flexible material, possibly supported by a reinforcing insert or cover. In In a preferred embodiment, however, the seal is produced by means of another material, in particular in the form of a strip, in such a way that such a soft-elastic design is provided at least in the upward edge region of the rear side of the strip.
- such strip-shaped zones made of flexible material are provided, which are fixed to the strip body.
- This can in turn be carried out by holding rails which are to be connected to the strip body in an attacking manner in a narrow central region of the strip-shaped formations by means of screws.
- Other designs of such soft-elastic zones can be profiled parts, for example soft rubber beads, which can be inserted into corresponding recesses on the back of the last body.
- the bar is designed as a flat rectangular profile, in particular in the form of a finished bar such that no parts projecting beyond this profile are present without the tarpaulin and fastening screws used.
- the bar can be manufactured by the meter and cut or assembled to size at the respective construction site.
- the bar is not only to be attached in a horizontal position, but it can also serve as a side seal in a vertical or oblique direction. It is also conceivable to provide arcuate transition sections for the last profile, in particular if wide tarpaulins are used which are to be pulled over corners.
- a cord can be sewn, inserted or welded into the edge of the tarpaulin to be inserted into the receiving space of the strip.
- a correspondingly thickened plastic strand or the like can of course also be used.
- the aim is that this 1 thickened edge practically fills the cavity in the bar, so that the undercut with regard to the outwardly opening slot slot, a correspondingly stable holder - is achieved - even with strong wind.
- the system between the edge and the interior surfaces of the receiving space should be such that the connection between the tarpaulin and the strip is watertight.
- the tarpaulins themselves are not of any length. For example, they are made available in sections 5 m wide or less. In the overlap area between the tarpaulins arranged next to each other, a transition is created that prevents wind and water from passing through.
- a Velcro fastener can be provided in such a way that two Velcro fastener strips running parallel in the side edge regions of the overlapping tarpaulin are provided, to which sealing lips or the like can also be provided in parallel if the Velcro fastener itself does not ensure the required water impermeability even in the event of wind.
- the tarpaulin In the case of installation, the tarpaulin should be 2 to 3 m long, viewed from the bar, if a scaffold of approx. 1 m width is available. The film would then still hang on the scaffold over 1 to 2 m outside. Thimbles or the like can be attached to the hanging edge area, by means of which the tarpaulin can be attached to the scaffolding. If the scaffold is suspended from the side, the tarpaulin can be formed on the suspension tarpaulin of the scaffold.
- a particularly simple, inexpensive and space-saving embodiment of the sealing and holding strip results when a strip material, in particular from sheet metal, is formed into a profile which is U-shaped in its overall outline, that is to say has two legs, and in which in the area between the U-legs the intake training is formed.
- the shaping of the legs can take place in sections by appropriate folding, but also by roller sets and the like, with which continuous shaping is possible.
- the procedure is preferably such that the bottom region of the receiving shape opposite the insertion opening for the tarpaulin is designed as a flat strip which lies approximately in the plane which is formed by the free ends of the legs.
- the attachment formation - in particular in the form of a row of bores running along the bar - can then be introduced into this floor area, so that when the bar is attached to the facade, screws guided through these bores are also included in the receiving groove.
- the sealing contact of the bar is preferably formed by sealing profiles which are placed on the free ends of the legs.
- the sealing profiles can each have a groove-shaped recess for receiving the respective leg.
- the sealing profile in its region opposite the recess can be provided with a groove-shaped recess, the two edges of which extend in the longitudinal direction of the profile and form sealing lips.
- FIG. 1 shows a sealing and holding strip, generally designated 1, which is attached to a facade 2, which is provided on a masonry 3 - directly or via intermediate layers.
- the facade surface 4 to be renovated is located below the attached strip 1.
- the strip 1 consists of a strip body 6, through which a number of holes 7 are made parallel to the upper edge of the strip.
- a reinforcement insert 8 is inserted, which appears on the front 9 of the strip and only over a portion of the thickness of the bar is guided.
- Such a reinforcement insert 8 is required when the material of the last body is relatively soft or weak.
- the bores 7 are guided together through the reinforcement insert 8 and the strip body 6 and serve to receive screws 23 which are supported with their heads on the outside of the reinforcement insert 8.
- countersunk screws can be provided, but cylinder head or hexagon head screws can also be used, which is particularly advantageous if no reinforcing insert 8 is provided.
- the screw heads can then be provided with a correspondingly large contact surface with which they are supported on the front side 9 of the strip body 6.
- the screws are inserted into dowels, which are introduced into the wall, in a manner not shown in detail.
- the bar can serve as a drilling jig for making the dowel holes.
- the strip 1 lies with its rear side 10 against the facade 2, specifically via strip-shaped designs made of a flexible material, a sealing bead or the like, as indicated in the upper longitudinal side region of the rear side 10 at 11 and in the lower longitudinal side region at 12.
- the strips of soft elastic material are to be attached to or formed on the latter in various ways.
- the strips can be inserted into appropriately dimensioned groove-shaped recesses in the rear side 10 of the strip body 6.
- the strips of soft elastic material are pressed in the course of the attachment by means of the screws 23 to the facade surface in such a way that there is a watertight contact between the latter and the strip body 6 even with a rough facade surface.
- a groove-shaped receiving space 13 is formed in the strip body 6, into which a tarpaulin 14 with an edge 15 designed to be thickened in accordance with the groove shape is inserted.
- the groove-shaped receiving space 13 undercut with respect to the longitudinal slot opening 16 is approximately circular in cross section, so that an edge 15 formed with a cord or the like can be inserted into the receiving space in the longitudinal direction of the slot.
- the tarpaulin 14 is secured via its edge 15 against approximately perpendicular to the front 9 of the strip 1 emerging from the receiving space 13 and by appropriate contact of its edge 15 to the groove walls 16 adjoining the upper and lower edges 17 and 18 of the groove longitudinal opening 16 19 and 20 sealed due to the tensile load by the weight of the tarpaulin.
- This seal also occurs insofar as the engagement of the thickened edge 15 of the film 14 in the groove-shaped receiving space 13 already creates excellent seals even without such a tensile load.
- the connection between the bar 1 and the tarpaulin 14 thus fulfills the double function of holding the film and the seal between the film and the bar.
- the strip body 6 according to the embodiment shown in Figure 1 consists of a profile part, for example an aluminum extrusion, which can also be made of plastic, hard rubber or the like.
- the inner wall of the groove-shaped receiving space can consist of a covering sleeve, which also takes into account the material's ability to slide between the edge 15 of the tarpaulin and the groove inner wall.
- FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional section of a second exemplary embodiment which is guided around the groove-shaped receiving space and in which the strip body 6 is composed of two longitudinal parts.
- the two strip parts 21 and 22 are of stepped design with respect to their mutually abutting longitudinal end faces, so that they can be connected to one another via rivets 24.
- the last body then again has a flat, rectangular cross section, as shown in FIG. 2.
- the interlocking of the two strip parts -21 and 22 can also be tongue and groove or the like. It is important that in the mutually facing longitudinal end faces of the upper strip part 21 and the lower strip part 22 there are recesses which, after the two strip parts have been joined together, again form a groove-shaped receiving space 13 which is comparable in function to that in accordance with FIG.
- a longitudinal slot opening 16 is formed, which appears on the front side 19 of the two-part, composite strip body 6, as is also the case in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1.
- FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which only the connecting groove walls 19 and 20 are designed to run obliquely to the front side 9 of the strip 1, which are attached to the upper edge 17 of the longitudinal slot opening 16 formed on the strip part 21 or to the lower edge on the strip part 22 Connect trained edge 18 of this slot longitudinal opening 16.
- the scope for the edge 15 of the tarpaulin 14 within the receiving space 13 will not be chosen too large, so that movements of the tarpaulin caused by wind influences do not lead to a kind of pumping effect of its edge 15 within the receiving space 13. Otherwise it is Embodiment according to Figure 2 formed comparable to that of Figure 1.
- Figure 3 shows a particularly easy to manufacture, in the outer wall outline except for the slot longitudinal opening 16 approximately U-shaped profile made of a strip material 26 - for example made of aluminum or steel sheet - which has legs 25 of the U-shape in its two longitudinal side areas in the attached state of the strip 1 formed in this way on the facade surface with its freely running leg ends toward this surface.
- the receiving formation 13 is shaped such that the strip 1 has on its front 9 in its longitudinal central region the longitudinal slot opening 16, which is followed by an octagonal profile wall which connects the receiving space 13 for the use of the thickened edge region Tarpaulin 14 encloses.
- the connecting walls 19 and 20 adjoin the two edges 17 and 18 of the longitudinal slot opening 16, whereby the advantages of sealing the tarpaulin which are shown in connection with the exemplary embodiments described above are achieved.
- the slot longitudinal opening 16, which is delimited by the borders 17 and 18 and is located on the front side 9 of the bar 1, runs opposite or parallel in the course of the octagonal bordering of the receiving space 13, a flat bottom area 31 extending in the longitudinal direction of the bar 1, which acts as a fastening device for the strip has a row of bores 7 arranged in succession in the longitudinal direction of the base region 31, or a part of the bores 7 can also be elongated.
- screws not shown, are inserted through the slot longitudinal opening 16, traversing the receiving space 13 into the bores 7 and screwed into dowels which have previously been inserted into the facade wall.
- the adjacent to the edges of the holes 7 heads of the screws take up little space within the receiving space 13, so that the thickened edge 15 of the plane 14, not shown, can be used unhindered in the space 13.
- the bores 7 can also be formed recessed so that countersunk screws can be used.
- FIG. 4 shows the cross section of a sealing profile 27 which is suitable for use on the strip 1 according to the exemplary embodiment 3 and is reproduced on a much larger scale than this strip 1.
- the sealing profile 27 is provided with a recess 28 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile the free ends of the legs 25 of the strip profile according to FIG. 1 pushed on until the free ends of the legs 25 reach the bottom of the groove-shaped recess 28.
- an inwardly bulging groove-shaped recess 29 is provided such that sealing lips 30 are formed in the longitudinal direction of the profile be that come first to the plant on the facade wall.
- the good conformability of the sealing profile on the facade wall is further increased by the fact that the sealing profile 27 itself is made of elastic material, and also in that the legs 25 to a certain extent with respect to the bottom region 31, which is connected to the facade wall via the screws are resiliently displaceable.
- the base region 31 preferably runs in a plane which is described by the two free-running end edges of the legs 25. Because of the free Legs protruding portions of the sealing profiles 27, a good bracing is required. Depending on the material properties, however, it may also make sense to arrange the base region 31 offset somewhat above this plane spanned by the free ends of the legs 25 towards the longitudinal slot opening 16 or to increase the width of the legs 25 accordingly.
- the device designed according to the invention it is possible to carry out renovation work with highly moisture-sensitive plastics, even in bad weather, and in each case in a coherent manner in the predetermined area, so that no disruptive transitions occur due to successive partial processing, color adjustments mean no difficulties and the like. If the strip has to be screwed onto a partial area of the facade that is also to be renovated, its renovation can be carried out in a "good weather hole".

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for rainproof covering of a facade or the like to be renovated with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
It is generally known that weather influences can significantly disrupt construction activity. When pulling up a building, this applies in particular to the effects of frost, less to rain, which only impairs weather-sensitive work. Work that is carried out in the course of a building renovation is much more sensitive to the effects of rain, because the expensive plastics processed there are so significantly affected by moisture that even the slightest rain forces the work to be interrupted or requires reworking. Such impairment is always present when the surfaces to be renovated are facades or the like, external surfaces exposed to the elements, including floors of balconies, arcades or the like.
Such forced interruption of work even when there is little rainfall leads to corresponding delays in order processing and harmful idling of operating capacity. The residents of such buildings to be renovated, in particular shops, also suffer from the interrupted work or its accompanying circumstances, such as facade scaffolding, inaccessibility of balconies, arbours that can be crossed if necessary and the like.
Depending on the renovation carried out, it is not only annoying and possibly also unattractive, but sometimes also harmful if the renovation work in Different intervals and thus transition areas between renovations at different times must be carried out.
It is known to hang scaffolding on the outside with tarpaulins. However, this does not prevent the rain from falling in from above, which in principle is not necessary when a building is opened normally. In the case of the building renovation in question with the very moisture-sensitive, expensive plastics, such a suspension of a scaffold is not sufficient. In addition, it should be borne in mind that precipitation often goes hand in hand with more or less violent winds, so one also has to reckon with moisture entering at an angle or offset to the side. It is therefore not enough to cover an area of a scaffold that is open at the top with a tarpaulin, which is then more or less fixed on site by the gutter or otherwise. Such temporary structures are seldom insensitive to the wind and, in particular, do not prevent the risk of water penetrating through opening gaps or in particular running down a facade.
It is an object of the invention to provide a cover for renovations, in particular with such moisture-sensitive plastics or the like, which allows a rainproof closure of the surface to be renovated, is easy to handle and can be adapted to the respective structural conditions, is inexpensive to produce and saves space can be stored and transported and has little sensitivity to damage.
Starting from a device with the features of the preamble of claim 1, this object is achieved according to the invention by its characterizing features. The sealing and holding strip for a tarpaulin provided according to the invention can be fastened to the attachment surface in a rainproof manner, even if it has a roughness which is not unusual for facades, and preferably with the aid of a series of screws. For the tight holding of the film, a receiving formation extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip is provided, into which an edge of the film to be connected to the strip is inserted.
Just as the strip itself creates a seal towards the mounting wall in such a way that rain falling there or above the mounting point cannot penetrate, not even as leachate through the mounting area, so also the inclusion of the corresponding edge of the tarpaulin in the mounting training not only serves as a holder the tarpaulin, but also a tight seal in this area, so that the façade, floor surface or the like located below the bar and thus the tarpaulin held by this strut is secured against the ingress of moisture. You can provide the recording training on the downward facing end of the bar, possibly even covered by a projecting downward projecting approach in the front area of the bar. A certain splash protection would be provided by such a projecting area. The admission training itself would then have no special requirements with regard to tightness. This approach fails, however, if the wind drives moisture along the tarpaulin towards the bar.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the receiving formation has a groove-shaped receiving space which is undercut at least on one side to the narrowed longitudinal slot opening and in which the edge of the tarpaulin, which is thickened in accordance with the groove undercut, can be used, above all by running along the groove the edge is inserted into the groove-shaped receiving space. In the groove interior, which is wider in cross section due to the undercut, in relation to the width of the longitudinal slot opening, a correspondingly thickened edge of the tarpaulin, for example by pulling in a cord or the like, can not only be held securely by the tensile force that the tarpaulin exerts on the bar the thickened edge seals against the surfaces that extend from the edges of the slot opening towards the inside of the slot. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the groove is undercut on both sides with respect to the two edges of the longitudinal slot of the groove, but only an undercut is provided on one side, so that in the position in which the bar is in use, it is designed so that the associated edge of the groove bar forms a drip edge , which directs the rain onto the outward-facing surface of the tarpaulin.
In a further preferred embodiment, the receiving space is provided in such a way that its longitudinal slot lies in the front of the strip facing away from the mounting wall. The arrangement of the receiving training in general, that is to say in particular in the form of a groove-shaped receiving space, has the fundamental advantage that nothing protrudes beyond the actual strip body which can be designed with smooth surfaces and which could be damaged in handling, transport or the like. By arranging the slot longitudinal opening of such a receiving space located inside the last body, the film extending from the edge inserted into this receiving space is kept striving in the direction away from the wall, which position it assumes by being supported on the scaffolding or the like, so that below the Tarpaulin can be worked. The facade surface to be renovated located below the bar can be completed right up to the edge of the bar without any bar formations or tarpaulin removal being a hindrance. In a preferred embodiment, the groove-shaped receiving space is formed in a one-piece area of the strip, ie in a one-piece strip body, which can be achieved by extrusion when using plastic or aluminum or the like. However, it is also possible to use a milling cutter provided with a corresponding head.
In another embodiment, the strip body is formed in two parts, such that the parting line between the two parts runs in the region of the groove-shaped receiving space. This has the advantage that the opposite end regions of the two strip parts can be designed with uncomplicated tools in such a way that the groove-shaped receiving space is formed between them when they are joined together.
The attachment formation for attaching the sealing and holding strip to a wall above the facade or floor surface to be renovated can be provided in a simple manner through two or preferably a series of bores through which screws are guided, which can be fixed in the attachment wall by means of dowels . Depending on the material of the bar, it may be appropriate to provide a reinforcement insert in the area of the bores, for example when the bar is formed from a hard rubber or similar plastic.
In principle, it is conceivable to design the entire back of the strip, with which it rests against a wall in the fastening case, in such a flexible manner that it adapts to the unevenness of the wall and closes it watertight. Preferably, in the upper and in the lower edge area of the back of the strip, such strip-shaped zones made of flexible material are provided, which are fixed to the strip body. This can in turn be carried out by holding rails which are to be connected to the strip body in an attacking manner in a narrow central region of the strip-shaped formations by means of screws. Other designs of such soft-elastic zones can be profiled parts, for example soft rubber beads, which can be inserted into corresponding recesses on the back of the last body.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the bar is designed as a flat rectangular profile, in particular in the form of a finished bar such that no parts projecting beyond this profile are present without the tarpaulin and fastening screws used. In this way, the bar can be manufactured by the meter and cut or assembled to size at the respective construction site. The bar is not only to be attached in a horizontal position, but it can also serve as a side seal in a vertical or oblique direction. It is also conceivable to provide arcuate transition sections for the last profile, in particular if wide tarpaulins are used which are to be pulled over corners.
A cord can be sewn, inserted or welded into the edge of the tarpaulin to be inserted into the receiving space of the strip. Instead of a cord, a correspondingly thickened plastic strand or the like can of course also be used. The aim is that this 1 thickened edge practically fills the cavity in the bar, so that the undercut with regard to the outwardly opening slot slot, a correspondingly stable holder - is achieved - even with strong wind. On the other hand, the system between the edge and the interior surfaces of the receiving space should be such that the connection between the tarpaulin and the strip is watertight.
Of course, the tarpaulins themselves are not of any length. For example, they are made available in sections 5 m wide or less. In the overlap area between the tarpaulins arranged next to each other, a transition is created that prevents wind and water from passing through. For this purpose, in particular a Velcro fastener can be provided in such a way that two Velcro fastener strips running parallel in the side edge regions of the overlapping tarpaulin are provided, to which sealing lips or the like can also be provided in parallel if the Velcro fastener itself does not ensure the required water impermeability even in the event of wind.
In the case of installation, the tarpaulin should be 2 to 3 m long, viewed from the bar, if a scaffold of approx. If one chooses a tarpaulin that protrudes slightly further from the bar, for example 3 m, then with a balcony with one and the same tarpaulin both the ceiling-side and the hanging covering or sealing can be carried out without the need for further hanging tarpaulins.
A particularly simple, inexpensive and space-saving embodiment of the sealing and holding strip results when a strip material, in particular from sheet metal, is formed into a profile which is U-shaped in its overall outline, that is to say has two legs, and in which in the area between the U-legs the intake training is formed. The shaping of the legs, like the receiving formation in the strip material, can take place in sections by appropriate folding, but also by roller sets and the like, with which continuous shaping is possible. In this case, the procedure is preferably such that the bottom region of the receiving shape opposite the insertion opening for the tarpaulin is designed as a flat strip which lies approximately in the plane which is formed by the free ends of the legs. The attachment formation - in particular in the form of a row of bores running along the bar - can then be introduced into this floor area, so that when the bar is attached to the facade, screws guided through these bores are also included in the receiving groove. The sealing contact of the bar is preferably formed by sealing profiles which are placed on the free ends of the legs. For this purpose, the sealing profiles can each have a groove-shaped recess for receiving the respective leg. In order to obtain a seal that is particularly adaptable depending on the facade structure, the sealing profile in its region opposite the recess can be provided with a groove-shaped recess, the two edges of which extend in the longitudinal direction of the profile and form sealing lips.

Unterhalb der angebrachten Leiste 1 befindet sich die jeweils zu sanierende Fassadenfläche 4.FIG. 1 shows a sealing and holding strip, generally designated 1, which is attached to a facade 2, which is provided on a masonry 3 - directly or via intermediate layers. The facade surface 4 to be renovated is located below the attached strip 1.
The strip 1 consists of a
The strip 1 lies with its
The
It goes without saying that the cross-sectional shape of the groove-shaped receiving
Figure 3 shows a particularly easy to manufacture, in the outer wall outline except for the slot
The adjacent to the edges of the holes 7 heads of the screws take up little space within the receiving
The
With the device designed according to the invention, it is possible to carry out renovation work with highly moisture-sensitive plastics, even in bad weather, and in each case in a coherent manner in the predetermined area, so that no disruptive transitions occur due to successive partial processing, color adjustments mean no difficulties and the like. If the strip has to be screwed onto a partial area of the facade that is also to be renovated, its renovation can be carried out in a "good weather hole".
