Abstract

1,139,321. Walls. E. LONGINOTTI. 12 April, 1966 [15 April, 1965; 15 Feb., 1966], No. 15959/66. Headings E1B and E1W. External and partition walls are constructed from planar panels 21, each with a row of holes along its upper and its lower edge, which are connected together by plates 25 with pins 29 attached to one or each face of them, the pins being glued in the holes. An external wall (Fig. 1, not shown) is formed with three spaced courses, the external cavity running continuously up through the wall, the inner two courses being supported by, e.g., the floor structure, and the outer course by concrete cornices 19, each with two ribs spacing it from the edge of the floor structure, and attached to the floor structure via rods 17 embedded therein: A partition wall comprises two spaced courses, the base plate 25x being glued, rivetted, etc., to the floor. Rectangular studs, e.g., 35, may be incorporated in the cavities, and various shapes of plates for constructing, e.g., wall junctions, are described.
