[Also in Division H1] The terminals of a thermally controlled electric switch are formed as contact prongs 22<SP>1</SP>, 28<SP>1</SP>. Bi-metal 1 acts on lever 6 carrying movable contact 26 against the net result of the forces f 1 , f 2 exerted by springs 13, 17 to close the contacts 26, 27. The circuit from contact prong 28<SP>1</SP> is through fixed contact 27, movable contact 26, spring 17 and bracket 19 to contact prong 22<SP>1</SP>.
