Abstract

1,113,434. Multiple retractable ball-point pens. EVERFLOW PEN CO. Ltd. 19 May, 1965 [20 Feb., 1964], No. 7237/64. Heading B6P. In a multiple retractable ball-point pen, crayon or pencil, the front and rear barrel portions 1 and 2 respectively, Fig. 1, are joined by an interconnecting member 3 provided with axially extending bores for guiding the refills and acting as seats for the retracting springs 9. Hook-shaped actuating members 10 are each connected to the end of a refill, and each extends through a longitudinal slot in the rear barrel portion. The actuating members may be coloured to indicate the nature of the ink in the refill.
