Abstract
1,094,664. Water heaters. G. BAUKNECHT G.m.b.H. ELEKTROTECHNISCHE FABRIKEN. July 28, 1966 [Sept. 22, 1965], No. 33872/66. Heading F4A. A tank 1 of a hot water heater is supported on a mixing fitting 4 by a generally triangular fixing stirrup 2 which has its upper parts bent over to form plates 15 which are spot-welded to the bottom of the tank, and which is secured by a screw 5 to an integral upstanding lug 3 on the mixing fitting 4. In addition, the stirrup 2, which is situated in the vertical plane of the centre of gravity of the tank 1, has a fork-like end-piece 6 which embraces the key faces 8 of a collar 7 of the mixing fitting 4 to provide additional support. The collar 7 also connects the mixing fitting 4 to a water connection pipe 9. Flow and discharge pipes (12), 13 over which the tank 1 is a push-fit, extend upwardly from the mixing fitting 4.
