Abstract

Herbicides contain as the active ingredient a compound having the formula <FORM:1094605/A5-A6/1> wherein X1 and X2 may be the same or different and denote H, Cl, -NO2, -Me, acetyl, carboxy or carboxymethyl radicals, R may be H or Me and m is 1 or 2 used in conjunction with an inert solid carrying agent or with a liquid carrying agent and a wetting agent. The preferred compound is isonitrosoaceto-p-toluidide although many compounds of the above formula are specified. The herbicides may be in the form of solutions, emulsions, suspensions or dusts and may also contain other active substances, e.g. substituted urea derivatives, triazine derivatives, acid anilides, phenoxycarboxylic acids and chlorinated fatty acid esters.
