A terminal post 3 has a portion 4 which is passed through a hole 11 in a printed circuit board and retained by a socket 5, and either the post or the socket or both have annular ribs 9, 10 which penetrate any insulating coating on the conductors of the board so as to make good contact with them. The socket may be an interference fit on the portion 4, and the post may be used to interconnect conductors on the opposite faces of the board.
