1,084,408. Cartons. BROWN CO. July 28, 1966 [Oct. 23, 1965], No. 34004/66. Heading B8P. A single-blank trunk-type carton, which is held closed by a tear-off strip (15); Fig. 7 (not shown), on the cover front panel (13), being attached at discrete glued zones 29b, Fig. 4, to the box front panel (2), the panel (2) having cuts 22 penetrating part of the materialthickness, the cuts 22 surrounding the glued zones 29b and having secondary transverse cuts, e.g. 22b, Fig. 4, at .the one end of the glued zones, from which end the tear strip. (15) is removed, the line of weakness 14, Fig. 9, connecting the tear strip 15 to the cover front panel' 13, comprising a series of co-linear slits 32 of. varying length so that the unslit lengths are shorter adjacent the said one ends of the glued zones 29b.
