Abstract

108,211. Davidson, J. Aug. 4, 1916. Valves.-In a cross-connected engine having cylinders of two diametors, a single piston valve H controls the admission and delivery of the charges to and from the pumps. The valve H opens to its source of supply through a passage J and has inlet ports K, k<1> which register with passages E, E<1> respectively, during the suction periods of the pumps. The pumps deliver into a chamber L, communicating with terminal inlet ports in the cylinders, through an annular passage in the valve.
