108,169. Jones. H., and Jones, A. P. Oct. 13, 1916. Felt hats; stiffeners.-To restore felt hats to their correct shape after handling, as in salutation, a resilient shield is inserted in the front. The device consists of a curved shield a of any resilient material or a wire frame of the same shape, the lower part b of which is inserted between the sweat band c and the front d of the hat. The shield may be enclosed in a fabric casing.
