Abstract
1,079,012. Automatic circuit - breaker. BROOKHIRST IGRANIC Ltd. Dec. 10, 1964 [Feb. 13, 1964], No. 6050/64. Heading H2B. The contacts 3a, 6d of a switch are closed by a push-button 1 acting through a toggle linkage 4c, 4d. The linkage is pivoted at one end on a support member 5a normally latched by a pivoted member 7 which is rotatable to free the support member 5a collapse the toggle, and thus release the contacts by an undervoltage solenoid (11), (Fig. 3, not shown), overload bimetals 9 or by a stop button 2. The contacts are arranged on the line side of the solenoid and a spring-urged lever (12a), (Fig. 4, not shown), acts to hold the armature (11b) against the core (11a) until the push-button is depressed to close the contacts.
