Abstract

1,076,287. Windscreen and window cleaners. WYNN DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. May 31, 1966 [Aug. 6, 1965], No. 33785/65. Addition to 887,114. Heading A4F. A window or windscreen wiper mechanism includes a carriage (not shown) slidable to and fro between guides and carrying a wiper blade and supporting arm, an endless belt 1 of the flat or power grip type passing around spaced pulleys, one of which is driven by an electric motor or other means, and a driving connection between the belt 1 and the carriage including a clip 6 secured to the belt 1 where the latter is formed with an outwardly directed tuck 5. The clip 6 carries three pins 7 which grip the belt 1, one pin 7 lying within the tuck 5. Each pulley 4 (Fig. 3, not shown) is formed with spaced notches (3) for receiving projections 2 on the belt 1.
