1,073,164. Crop pick-up trailer. JOSEF DECHENTREITER MASCHINEN F ABRiK G.m.b.H. July 9, 1964 [July 16, 1963], No. 28442/64. Heading B8E. A crop pick-up trailer comprises a pick-up member 2 having tined reel pick-up 10 resiliently mounted by springs 18 and supported by wheels 13 and an elevator feeding member 3. The pick-up member 2 can be raised to an inoperative position by a cable 22, Fig. 1, operated by a lever 30 acting through a pawl and ratchet wheel 31, 26 and having a retaining pawl 28 which can be released by moving the lever 30 a sufficient distance. The working height of the unit can be adjusted by a bolt and slot adjustment 14-17. The feeding member 3 has feeding tines 38, Fig. 2, driven by gearing 35, 36 and operating over a plate 25A and between spring-steel retaining strip 44 provided with material retaining lugs 45.
