Abstract

1,007,701. Toothed gearing. DEMAG A.G. April 11, 1962, No. 14076/62. Heading F2Q. Epicyclic gearing comprises a sun gear 1, a coupling shaft 2 connected to the sun gear by means of a toothed coupling, and a resilient throat pin 3 mounted coaxially of the coupling shaft 2 and resiliently secured to the sun gear 1 and a coupling part 12 by flexible hub discs 4. In a modification, cup-shaped hub discs 5 are provided and a ball-joint 13 may be provided. The coupl.ng shaft 2 may be integral with the resilient pin 3. Fig. 11 shows an arrangement in which a coupling shaft 2 transmits axial thrust directly to a roller-bearing 14.
