Abstract
1,070,348. Cine film magazines. FUJI SHASHIN FILM KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Oct.1, 1965 [Oct.2, 1964], No.41841/65. Heading G2E. Cine film magazines have their inner surfaces at least partially coated with a sulphate of formula ROSO3M where R is C8-18 alkyl group and M is an alkali-metal atom, e.g. Na, to reduce friction. As shown in Fig. 1, a magazine 1 comprises supply and take-up chambers 1a, 1b formed from two mating body parts 2, 3, the film being wound on rotatable axles 4a, 4b and being guided by guides 8 and 9 past an exposure area 7 from the supply to the take-up chamber, the film being intermittantly driven by a claw, and axle 4b of the take-up chamber being driven through a friction clutch; axles 4a, 4b are fitted with friction rings (12a), (12b) Fig. 2 (not shown), or spring (14) Fig. 3 (not shown) to prevent free rotation. The inner surfaces of the magazine, the guides and the surfaces of the axles 4a, 4b which contact the inner surfaces of the magazine are coated with an alkyl sulphonate 11.
