A manifold or bulkhead fitting, particularly for beverage dispensers comprises a first gasket 24, a first disc 26, a second gasket 28 and a second disc 30 stacked in series over an opening in a vessel wall 22, a plurality of tubes (44, 46, 48 and 50), Fig. 3 (not shown), passing through aligned holes in the discs and gaskets from the interior of the vessel to the exterior, an external projecting bead (52 or 56) of larger diameter than said holes on each tube lying in the plane of the gasket 28 towards one or other of the plates, and means compressing the discs and gaskets against the vessel wall thereby forming a leakproof seal. Said means comprises, as illustrated in Fig. 3 (not shown), a stud (42) welded to disc (30), a four-armed retainer (64), and a nut (72). The gaskets are preferably of natural gum rubber and the tubes and discs are preferably of stainless steel, although the latter may also be of plastics, The disc bodies and holes therein are preferably formed by stamping, the resulting burrs enhancing the sealing. Similarly, the holes in the gaskets are stamped, it being stated that in consequence the holes take a double tapered form as illustrated in Fig. 4a (not shown) which permit a wedging fit of each bead in the respective hole when either plate 30 or plate 26 is drawn against the beads on tightening the retainer nut.
