A bridge comprises a plurality of wide-flange H-section girders held in parallel relation by spaced channel section members bolted to joining plates secured to the girder webs. The joining plates may be plates welded to the girder webs or angles bolted thereto. Where the girders are deep in relation to the cross channels triangular support gussets may be used below the channels.
