Epicyclic gearing comprises a sun gear on a driving shaft E 1 , an internally toothed annulus C3 mounted in a fixed casing, C1, and a train of three pairs of stepped planet gears R<SP>1</SP> P<SP>3</SP>, R 2 P 4 , R 3 P 5 , mounted in a three-part carrier A 2 , A 3 , A 4 secured by screws V 1 to an output shaft A 1 . The number of planet gears may be increased two, three or four times in order to transmit larger torques.
