Abstract

1,061,376. Suspended ceilings. FORKIN BROTHERS Ltd. and M. FORKIN. April 17, 1964 [June 17, 1963], No. 16012/64. Heading E1W. Rectangular panels 2 are suspended on L-, inverted T-, or inverted F- sectioned framing members with upper longitudinal ribs 6, 6' gripped by resilient one-piece, 4, or two-piece, 4', clips supported in turn on flat strips 1. The U-shaped clips 4 each have slots 9 through which an H-shaped key 8 is inserted to strengthen the grip of the jaws 5. The clips 4' each have a T-shaped upper portion 4a with lower flanges to which are secured a lower portion 4c having resilient jaws 5'.
