Abstract

962,550. Building panels. SFIM (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd. Feb. 6, 1961 [Feb. 5, 1960], No. 4212/60. Heading E1B. A ceiling or wall panel comprises a metal or synthetic plastic frame 18, 22 across which is stretched sheets 10, 12 of a flexible, translucent, P.V.C. material. The frame, when of metal, is as shown in Fig. 2, or is of H, I, or channel section and may be coated with plastic. The sheets 10, 12 may be bonded to this frame and held by cords, wires &c. 20. In Fig. 4 the sheets are held to a plastic frame 22 by inserts 24.
