Abstract

1,046,145. Securing coils for dynamo-electric machines. ROBERT BOSCH G.m.b.H. Feb. 5, 1965 [Feb. 8, 1964], No. 5017/65. Heading H2A. The field coils of the salient pole rotor of a three-phase A.C. generator are secured by members having diverging legs which are located between the field coils and held in place by their own resilience. Preferably the ends of the legs engage under the overhang of the pole shoes and are chamfered away from the surface abutting the coil. The members may be made of spring steel or of an elastic synthetic resin. For long rotors several members are used side-by-side to give uniform pressure on the coils.
