A tube clamp for connecting two tubes 7, 8, Fig. 1, crossing at right angles to each other comprises a rigid saddle piece 9 to which two jaws 12, 13 are pivotally connected each of which is held in the clamping position by a respective tube clip pivotally mounted at one end of the saddle piece, each tube clip consisting of or including a bow 14 having two generally parallel legs and a crosspiece 141 connected to the free ends of the legs, and each jaw having at its free end a nose piece 121 which is curved eccentrically in relation to the axis of a bolt 15 connecting the corresponding bow to the saddle piece and which nose piece is pressed down by moving the cross-piece of the corresponding bow over the nose piece in order to hold the jaw in clamping position. In the embodiment of Fig. 1 the bow 14 is resilient and is moved into the clamping position by a key which fits over the cross-piece of the bow. In a second embodiment a nose is provided on the cross-piece of the bow and a pin is provided on each side of the jaw 12, the bow being moved to the clamping position by a driver hooked over the nose on its cross-piece and pivoted to a fork ended lever engaged on the pins. In a further embodiment the bow is prevented from accident release from the nose-piece by providing a pin on the jaw over which a spring-loaded catch on the bow is engaged. In another embodiment, Fig. 4, the cross-piece of the bow is an eccentric cam 20 provided with a pin 201, the bow being moved into the damping position by engaging the tube over the pin 201 and rotating it in the direction of the arrow so that the cam 20 enters a depression 122 in the jaw 12. In the clamping position the pin 201 lies between a pair of humps 123 on the jaw 12 to prevent its accidental release.
