Abstract

1,033,355. Reciprocating pumps and motors. A. MASERA. April 8, 1964 [April 11, 1963], No. 14404/64. Heading F1A. To prevent torsional forces being set up in the piston biasing springs 28, within the cylinders of an axial piston pump or motor, thrust-bearings 40 are provided in the blind bores of the pistons 26. Balls 48 which roll on cam track 50 are housed in cups of anti-friction material and seat on a row of balls 52, Fig. 2 (not shown). The valve face of cylinder block 22 is of anti-friction material.
