Abstract

A nickel base alloy comprises: .Cr.18-22% .Co.8-12% .Mo.7-9% .Ti.1.4-2.55% .Al.0.7-1.7% .C.0.02-0.1% .Mn.0.2-0.6% .Si.0.1-0.5% .Ca.0-0.015% .Fe.0-1.0% .S.0-0.005% .B.0-0.01% .Zr.0-0.1% .Nb.0-1.0% the balance, apart from impurities, being nickel, the amounts of titanium and aluminium being within the trapezium ABCD in the Figure. The alloy may be solution treated at 1080 DEG -1200 DEG C., water quenched and aged at 700 DEG -900 DEG C. <PICT:1029609/C6-C7/1>
