A device for feeding liquid which cools by evaporation to the rotor of an electrical machine, e.g. turbogenerator includes a fixed stationary inlet duct 8 which delivers a free jet of cooling liquid to a liquid-receiving cylinder 5 mounted on the rotor is a space between the shaft 2 and end windings and provided with holes 10 connected through ducts 12 to the hollow conductors 1 of the end windings. The duct 8 comprises a number of pipes discharging by gravity into cylinder grooves 9, and the ducts are in an insulating cylinder 6. The device may also feed liquid coolant to axial ducts in the rota body.
