Abstract

1,028,083. Load handling attachments for tractors. LINDE A.G. March 28, 1963 [March 31, 1962], No. 12265/63. Heading B8H. [Also in Division E1] Detachably secured to each side of a tractor or like vehicle chassis are brackets to the lower ends of which are pivotally secured jacks pivotally coupled to intermediate the ends of arms which are pivoted to the tops of brackets. These arms are so arranged with respect to associated arms pivotally mounted on a second bracket secured across the front of the chassis that when the arms are coupled by an implement or by tie-rods the arms form part of a substantially parallelogram linkage. When tierods join the arms an implement is pivotally connected to the lower arms and to another link or links on the tractor chassis at a level above the connection of the lower arms to the second bracket.
