In I.C. engine valve mechanism the valve rockers 7 are journalled on semi-cylindrical bearing members 11 supported by a stud from the cylinder head, the bearing members 11 being keyed against rotation by a member 17 which similarly keys the bearing member of an adjacent valve rocker.
