A castable, high temperature alloy has the following percentage composition: .C.0.02 - 0.2 .Cr.3.0 - 9.5 .W.3.5 -13.5 .Al.5.0 - 7.0 .Ta+Nb.4.0 -12.0 .B.0.005- 0.05 .Co.8.0 -20.0 .Mo.0 - 5.0 .Nb.0 - 5.0 .Zr.0 - 0.5 .Ni.the balance In the absence of Nb, the Ta content should not be less than 6 and Ti should not be present except as an impurity. Specification 1,003,222 is referred to.
