1,010,691. Fencing. A. S. JARVIS. June 4, 1963 [June 1, 1962], No. 21268/62. Heading E1B. A fence construction includes a number of superposed horizontal cross-members 7 each having a slot 10 formed in their lower surface which mates with the upper surface of the member immediately below. As exemplified the fence comprises wooden wedge-sectioned members interfitted one above the other and extending between I-sectioned uprights 1a of concrete, wood, or metal. A wire 14 extends between the uprights to strengthen the fence and is contained within capping 12.
