Abstract

1,195,415. Mobile workers platforms, G. MANGER AND K. H. LADWIG. 15 Aug., 1967 [3 March, 1967], No. 37525/67. Heading E1S. A mobile workers platform 10 with a hinged extension 14 is driven by a motor or up down a triangular or square sectioned lattice tower formed in sections 2, 2', &c via a gear wheel 7 having rollers 8 which engage either with cams 6 (as shown) projecting from one of the corner ,posts of the tower, or with projections on each of a number of horizontal cross-struts 21 running between two adjacent - posts. The 'base 1 of the tower comprises outwardly extending detachable stays 3 adjacent one of which can be turned through 180‹ about their longitudinal axes and remounted on the base in an approximately co-linear configuration, ('Fig. 2, not shown), the base 4 being mountable on either end of the spindle 5. A further platform section 20 (Figs. 3, 4, not shown) can be articularly fastened to the extension 14.
