Abstract
1,002,911. Hydraulic turbines. SOC. FIVES LILLE-CAIL. May 28, 1962 [May 29, 1961], No. 20412/62. Heading FIT. [Also in Divisions B1 and B2] Impeller blades 6 project from the upper cheek of a filter drum 8 for liquids mounted on a rotary shaft 3, and inward flow turbine blades (not shown) may be fitted in the drum. Liquid introduced at 4 is centrifuged by the impeller 6 into the casing 10, and passes inwardly into the drum and out through the hollow shaft 11. A further inlet and impeller may be located at the bottom of the drum.
