Abstract

1,000,351. Switches held set and freed mechanically. REEVES & CO (BIRMING- HAM) Ltd. Jan. 14, 1962 [Jan. 14, 1961], No. 1635/61. Heading H2B. A switch comprises two terminal posts 9 mounted upon an insulating circular base 1 on opposite sides of a sheet-metal bridge 5 supporting a dolly or rocker 17 arranged to move the free end of a blade into engagement with one of the posts against a spring bias 13. The head of the bridge is domed and supports a sheet-metal cover 3 making a friction fit therewith. Depending arms 6 of the bridge 5 are turned outwards and attached to the base 1 by hollow rivets (Fig. 2, not shown) through which mounting screws may be passed.
