Description
The invention relates to product packaging and a corresponding kit. Subsequently, the term product designates here not only fresh products, raw or cooked, processed or not, whole or sliced, pasty or solid, of animal or vegetable origin but also non-food products, for example of agricultural origin. such as flowers, pharmaceutical, electronic or other products. By way of non-limiting examples, we can cite as fresh products meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, confectionery, cakes and pastries, seaweed, shellfish, dishes or cooked products.
All these products have the particularity of having more or less long consumption or conservation times, ranging from a few days to a few weeks and/or of being fragile and/or sensitive to the external environment. These products must be presented and stored in optimal hygienic conditions and isolated from the outside. In order to avoid any contamination and/or contamination by solid particles, liquids, microorganisms, humans or animals, these products must not be in contact with the ambient air and avoid any oxidation and/or contamination. or chemical reaction with air or an external agent.
For this, they are packaged in containers of different shapes and types. Such packaging is frequently provided with a film or lid which ensures the closure of the container and the insulation of the product from the outside. Such packaging, when the film or cover is transparent, allows the consumer to view the product in its packaging, while preventing the consumer from being able to directly touch the product and the latter from being in contact with a contaminating agent. We also know packaging allowing the product to be preserved in a controlled atmosphere or under vacuum, particularly for food products. This type of packaging offers many advantages. In addition to optimal shelf life of the food product, packaging under vacuum or controlled atmosphere preserves the initial color of the product and limits any exudation of the product as much as possible. This type of packaging is growing because it makes it easy to adapt to any geometric shape and/or volume of the product, whether it is presented alone or with other products, flat or not. We thus know so-called skin packaging, comprising a flat plate or a tray, generally made of polymer-based material or cardboard, coated with a first cleaning film or liner ensuring sealing between the product and the container and on which rest the product. A vacuum film, called skin, completely covers the product and is welded, once the vacuum has been created on the liner, on the periphery of the product, on the plate or tray.
Current regulations aim at the gradual disappearance of non-recyclable polymer packaging, which favors packaging based on cardboard, wood, bamboo, plant fibers or more generally cellulose. To date, there is a significant diversity of shapes and/or volumes for tray-type packaging. The trays, made of polymers or a cellulose-based material, are manufactured and equipped with the sealing film or liner and thus delivered, in shape and ready for use, to the user who will position the product in the tray before its vacuuming or closing. We thus know by US-B-5 631 036, US-A-2016/0340 098 or GB-A-2 557 662 packaging of this type. The transport of such trays is not optimal because an empty and formed tray takes up a significant amount of space, resulting in transport costs that are all the more significant as the cost of fuel is high. Likewise, these trays occupy a significant volume during their storage, especially since the user must, generally, have several sizes of trays depending on the product to be packaged. The various existing solutions require more or less complex assembly and/or manufacturing lines. There are also certain fragile food products, for example mushrooms, fruits, vegetables which continue to ripen, dry or mature when in the air. In this case, it is known to place the product concerned in packaging when it is still in a state of ripening, drying or maturity allowing handling without risk of marking and/or damage to the product. The packaging remains open until the desired state, with the tray closing with a film only occurring after a few days. It is therefore necessary to have packaging that allows such a practice.
There is therefore a need for product packaging that is easy to use, store and transport while remaining easily adaptable to the constraints of various products and while optimizing production costs and implementation.
It is to these needs that the invention aims to respond by offering a simple product packaging solution, easy to implement and at a controlled cost.
For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a packaging of a product comprising a container defining a volume for receiving the product, said container being adapted to be fixed, on at least one part, to at least one closing film of the container when the product is in place in the container, the container being made of cardboard or cellulose-based, adapted to pass by folding a first configuration in the form of a flat plate provided with pre-cuts or cutouts in which the plate does not determine any defining container a volume for receiving a product to a second configuration in which said folded plate determines a container defining a volume for receiving a product, characterized in that maintaining the shape of the container in its second configuration when it defines a volume receiving the product is made by a rigid frame of dimensions adapted to at least partially surround the container.
Thus, thanks to the invention we have a solution making it possible to optimize the transport and storage of containers, since the latter are initially presented flat in the form of plates, therefore easily stackable. A rigid frame makes it possible to maintain the container once in shape, whether or not the product insulation film is in place on the container. It is easy, with a machine, a mold or an impression, or even manually to fold the plate and achieve the desired volume for the container, this when the container is with the user and not, as in the state of the technical, from the container manufacturer. It is thus possible, thanks to the invention, to shape the container, maintain it in shape, fill it with the product and close the container in one or more operations carried out in different locations. These various operations can be done successively or be separated by more or less long time intervals. Such a solution, in addition to limiting the steps carried out on the packaging production sites, makes it possible to limit the volumes of packaging transported and stored. In addition, we limit the risks of contamination when packaging the product because we can thus carry out in a limited time the operations of shaping the container, its filling and its closing, by adapting the various shaping stages. , filling and closing the packaging.
According to advantageous but not obligatory aspects of the invention, such packaging may include one or more of the following characteristics:
Le cadre est réutilisable. The frame is reusable.
The frame is made of a single-use material.
Several frames surround the container, the frames being placed one above the other according to the height of the container when it is in its second configuration.
The frame has dimensions similar to a rim of the container extending outward from the main plane of the container opening.
Several frames of different dimensions are pre-cut from a plate of a given material.
The invention also relates to a packaging kit comprising at least one plate provided with precuts or cutouts defining at least one container in its first configuration and at least one frame for holding the container when the latter is in its second configuration.
The invention will be better understood and other advantages thereof will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of non-limiting example and made with reference to the appended drawings in which:

Currently regulatory trends aim to reduce the quantity of waste. Also the packaging of products with a minimum of material, easy to recycle or at least having a minimum environmental impact during their destruction is developing. We can thus see that the material constituting the container can be a material other than those mentioned previously, as long as they are recyclable and/or reusable and easy to fold or form plates articulated together. For example, the container can be made of wood, metal, ceramic, glass or other.

A frame 15, here of rectangular shape, is particularly visible in Figures 1 and 3. The frame 15 can have another shape and dimensions, provided that its shape and dimensions correspond to those of the container C of the packaging 1 once in folded configuration. Frame 15 is, in the example, made of the same material as container C of packaging 1, alternatively it is made of another material. It can be metal or polymer, which makes it possible to have a reusable frame 15, at least a certain number of times. The rectangular frame 15 has long sides 16, 17 of length L16 and L17 at most equal to the lengths L5 and L6 of the long sides of the packaging container 1. The same is true for the short sides 18, 19 of the frame 15 which have lengths L18, L19 at most equal to those of the lengths L11 and L12 of the short sides 11, 12 of the container C.

At the corners of tray C we obtain a triple thickness of material with an overlap of edges 9 to 12 and frame 15, which stiffens the whole. In certain cases, in particular when initially the constituent plate of the packaging 1 is devoid of a sealing film, before putting a product in the tray once the frame 15 in place, it is appropriate to attach a sealing film. seal in the container, before putting the product in place. This film is welded or glued, by techniques known per se, on the bottom 4, the side walls 5 to 8 as well as on the edges 9 to 12 of the container C. Once the sealing film is in place, it is possible place the product in container C then seal the latter using a closing film also called a sealing film. The sealing film is placed coplanar to the opening of container C and, advantageously, extends over the edges 9 to 12, covering them. The overflow of the sealing film is such that it passes under the frame 15 and is fixed, by techniques known per se such as welding or gluing, on the lower face of the frame 15. This stiffens and secures the connection. between the frame 15 and the tray C, the frame 15 then being secured to the tray C. When the frame 15 is made of a reusable material, metallic or polymer, the sealing film is attached only to the upper face of the edges 9 to 12 , in order to facilitate the recovery of the frame 15. Alternatively, the fixing takes place as previously, therefore with fixing of the sealing film on the lower face of the frame 15, for example when the container receives a heavy and/or non-solid product. In this case, the recovery of the frame 15 requires that the sealing film be completely removed, whereas when the frame 15 is for single use, it is possible to open the tray C by leaving a hole of the desired dimensions in the film. sealing.

Alternatively, the nature of the underside of the edges is rough, generating friction which makes it easier to maintain the frame. Other solutions, such as non-polymerizable glue placed on the frame and/or the undersides of the edges, hook-and-loop strips or others are used to secure the connection between the frame and the container.
In another embodiment, several frames are used, over the height of the container, to hold it, in particular when the container is large and/or the product is heavy.
Alternatively, the frame is open, for example U-shaped. In this case, it is possible to use either a single frame partially surrounding the container or two facing frames to surround the container.
A kit comprising at least one plate in which at least the precuts or cutouts of a container and at least one frame are provided is also the subject of the invention. With such a kit, we receive a plate allowing us to make at least one, or even several containers, identical or not. Such a solution is particularly advantageous in terms of storage, transport, handling and cost.
