Pneumatique (1) pour véhicule de génie civil comprenant une armature de carcasse (4), une armature de sommet (3), comprenant au moins cinq couches de sommet (311, 312, 321, 322, 331, 332) comprenant des renforts métalliques. La couche de protection (312) a des renforts élastiques, ayant un module en extension au plus égal à 110 GPa. Les gommes dites de découplage sommet (6) situées autour des extrémités axiales des couches de sommet (311, 312, 321, 322, 331, 332)) ont un allongement à rupture au moins égal à 500%, et une perte dynamique tanδ au plus égale à 0,06. Une gomme de bourrage sommet (5) comprise entre l’extrémité axiale de la couche de travail de plus grande largeur axiale (321) et l’armature de carcasse(4), a possiblement un allongement à rupture au moins égal à 650% et une perte dynamique tanδ, à 100°C à 10 Hz, au plus égale à 0,07.
