Abstract
Procédé et dispositif de détection d’un occupant dans un véhicule L’invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de détection d’un occupant (11) dans un véhicule (1). A cet effet, une information représentative d’une fréquence cardiaque est déterminée à partir de données reçues d’un ou plusieurs capteurs (101 à 103) intégrés dans une ceinture de sécurité (10). La ceinture de sécurité est utilisée pour sangler un passager (11), aussi appelé occupant. La longueur de la sangle de la ceinture de sécurité (10) qui est déroulée pour attacher le passager (11) est déterminée, par exemple via un capteur configuré à cet effet. Une information représentative d’une catégorie d’âge de l’occupant (11) attaché avec la ceinture de sécurité (10) est déterminée à partir de l’information représentative d’une fréquence cardiaque et de la longueur.
