L'invention a pour objet un siège prévu pour une salle de spectacle, comprenant une assise (4) et un dossier (8), ce siège étant remarquable en ce qu'il comporte un pied central unique (6) supportant l'assise (4) par des glissières longitudinales, et un dossier basculant (8) relié au pied (6) par un premier pivot transversal (20), ce dossier (8) comprenant un levier (22) réalisant une avance de cette assise (4) quand il bascule vers l'arrière, et en ce qu'il comporte un dispositif élastique (32) rappelant le dossier (8) vers l'avant.
