Abstract

This invention provides a reclining mechanism which includes protruding portion to prevent seat back portion from moving backward when reclining and at the same time diminishes the occupied area possibly, and makes no change in shoulder, body contact position etc. This invention comprises chair body having seat portion and seat back portion, and chair with support portion to support said chair body from below. The reclining mechanism characterized that the release back motion installed between support portion and chair body makes seat back portion move backward under the state of fixed angle between seat portion and seat back portion, and at the same time makes said seat portion and seat back portion move forward.
