Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'attirer les frelons asiatiques en son centre et de les intercepter tout en permettant aux insectes plus petits attirés aussi dans l'invention de retrouver la liberté par une sortie calibrée. Par la forme du goulet (5) les papillons diurnes ne peuvent entrer dans le piège. Elle est constituée de coques (2 et 3) se vissant l'une dans l'autre définissant la structure du dispositif. Un goulet d'entrée (5) placé dans la coque supérieure (2) permet la pénétration des frelons asiatiques et des insectes de gabarit égal ou inférieur, et les conduit au cœur de l'invention. L'ensemble des insectes se retrouvent alors dans la coque inférieure (3) qui comporte une sortie basse, de forme rectangulaire de 4,5 millimètres de haut par 35 millimètres de large, située à 14 millimètres de l'axe de vissage des deux coques. Elle retient alors les frelons qui ne peuvent ressortir mais permet aux insectes mesurant entre 3 millimètres et 4,5 millimètres de retrouver la liberté. Un procédé similaire de sortie est prévu pour permettre aux insectes de tailles inférieures au frelon, de ressortir de l'invention. Elle dispose ainsi d'une singularité sélective sur les espèces visées. L'invention présente une forme ovoïde générale, couverte d'un chapeau (1) rond, la préservant des entrées d'eau. Il est surmonté d'un crochet (4) permettant de suspendre le piège à une branche d'arbre ou quelconque support présent dans la nature. Sa base plate permet de le poser également sur un support plat extérieur. L'invention se compose de deux coques en forme de bol s'imbriquant en partie supérieure par vissage.
