Description
The invention relates to a weight lifting machine, of the type comprising a frame, provided with a wheel device, and a body which comprises a crane boom, a counterweight device opposite the boom, at least one electric motor and an electric battery device supplying electrical energy to the machine. Machines corresponding to this description, such as road-rail excavator type machines, are already known. These machines could be of hybrid type, dual mode, equipped, if necessary, an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. This kind of road-rail shovel must, in order to be authorized to work on the railway network, to respect very limited sizes. However, for its proper functioning, bulky elements, such as the driver's cab, the counterweight and the motor device, are essential and the positioning of each of these components must be defined precisely. The counterweight, positioned opposite the arrow, determines the lifting capacities of the machine. The heavier the counterweight, the higher the load can be lifted. The counterweight, which is usually lead, cast iron or concrete, represents by its large size a large dead volume for the machine. To prevent the machine from having too large dimensions or having a too complex structure, the bulk of the counterweight must be limited, which also imposes a limitation of the lifting capacity of the machine. The invention aims to overcome this disadvantage. To achieve this object, a machine according to the invention is characterized in that the counterweight device is formed, at least in part, by the electric battery device. According to an advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that it comprises at the rear end a battery compartment capable of housing a plurality of battery boxes may be superimposed vertically to constitute a significant weight.
According to another advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that it comprises a compartmentalized body so as to release at the rear a large space that can serve as housing compartment of the battery boxes.
According to yet another advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that it comprises a compartment housing the electric motor, arranged next to the battery box housing compartment. According to yet another advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that the housing compartment of the battery boxes is configured to allow the introduction and removal of the boxes through an access opening provided at the rear end of the housing. the machine. According to yet another advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that the battery boxes comprise a base configured for handling with the aid of a forklift truck. According to yet another advantageous characteristic, the machine is characterized in that it is hybrid and comprises, in addition to the electric motor, a heat engine. The invention will be better understood, and other objects, features, details and advantages thereof will become more clearly apparent from the following explanatory description made with reference to the accompanying drawings given solely by way of example, illustrating a mode of operation. Embodiment of the invention and in which: - Figure 1 is a perspective view of a hoisting machine according to the invention in the form of a road-rail excavator; - Figure 2 is another perspective view of the excavator according to Figure 1, showing in particular the rear part in which is housed the battery device; - Figure 3 is a top view of the excavator according to the invention; - Figure 4 corresponds to Figure 2 but shows the excavator after removal of the access cover to the storage compartment of the battery boxes; - Figures 5 and 6 show the excavator of Figure 4, two different stages of evacuation of the battery boxes; Figure 7 shows the excavator of Figure 4 after removal of the entire covering device from the back of the backhoe; FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a battery box according to the invention, and FIG. 9 shows the arrangement of the different batteries in the box of FIG. 8. The invention will be described below, at As a non-limiting example, in its application to a hybrid road-rail excavator, that is to say a machine equipped with two separate power sources, namely a heat engine and an electric motor. This excavator is able to work in all-electric mode, in order to considerably reduce the usual noise nuisance and to avoid any emission of exhaust fumes. This multifunction vehicle can therefore perform lifting, excavation and hydraulic tools feeding, both day and night, outside or in confined environments. The double engine that equips the excavator gives it the ability to operate at an identical power whatever the selected mode. This particularity of the hybrid digger according to the invention ensures a safe use, since in case of unexpected unloading of the batteries, the operator is able to switch the power source in order to finish his intervention. As shown in the figures, the excavator according to the invention comprises a chassis 1 equipped with a device 5 of four wheels 2 for its movement on the road and a device with four wheels 4 with which the excavator can move on the rails of a railway. The wheels 4 are disposed on axles 5 which are pivotally mounted on the chassis between a retracted position 10 on the road and an active position of movement on the railway. The general structure of such a chassis and wheel devices is known per se and need not be described in detail. On the chassis 1 equipped with wheels 2 15 and 4 devices for road and rail travel is pivotally mounted, advantageously but not necessarily, around a vertical axis, the upper structure of the excavator forming the bodywork 6, and which comprises, at the front outside of the excavator, on the left, a driving cabin 7, on the right a compartment 8 for the heat engine and radiator and, in between, the support of an arrow device of The rear part of the excavator comprises a compartment 12 in which are housed three battery boxes 14. The central part of the body is occupied by an oil tank compartment 16, on the right, and on the right side. left of an electrical compartment 17 in which are arranged the chargers, batteries, inverters and other electrical equipment. This compartment extends towards the end of the excavator by occupying an area to the left of the battery box compartment. On the other side of this compartment, on the right, is a compartment 20 housing the oil reservoir, and in particular the electric motor. It should be noted that this way of compartmentalizing the body of the excavator is an essential feature of the invention because it allows to release at the rear of the body a space large enough to accommodate the batteries whose weight can then be high enough to accomplish the function of the counterweight which is disposed, in known diggers, at the rear of the body. The invention makes it possible to eliminate this specific counterweight at least partially. The compartment reserved for the battery boxes 14 is symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis of the excavator, opposite the crane boom. Referring to Figures 8 and 9, the batteries noted 22 are divided into three boxes 14 each of which contains 48 batteries as shown in Figure 9. Each box has a parallelepiped shape whose rear face 24 is curved and thus determines the face back of the backhoe. The batteries are mounted in series. Each battery bringing for example a voltage of 2 volts. A total voltage of 288 volts is also obtained. The base 24 of each box is configured so that it can be handled by a forklift and installed in the battery compartment 12. As can be seen clearly in FIGS. 6 and 7, the compartment 12 comprises, for the reception of the boxes 14, a support structure 26, which comprises at the rear a receiving frame formed by two uprights 28 arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the body and rising vertically from the bottom wall 29 and a horizontal beam member 30 which joins the two free ends of the uprights 28. The support structure further comprises, on each side of the longitudinal axis, a support member 35 in the form of an L 32, including a cross member 34 extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bodywork towards the front end of the body and a vertical leg member 35 rising from the wall of the body. ond. The free end of the cross member is secured to the horizontal beam 30 of the receiving frame.
The uprights 28 of the frame have, on their internal faces oriented towards the axis of the body, console elements 36, each for the support of a battery box 14. The uprights 35 of the L-shaped support elements comprise two support consoles 38 which are oriented towards the receiving support frame, each at a console 36 for the support of a box 14. Therefore, in the state introduced into the compartment, each box is supported on four consoles, namely two consoles 36 and two consoles 38. The support structure of the boxes, formed by the receiving frame and the two L-shaped elements make easy connection of the boxes to the electric device of the excavator. Figures 5 and 6 illustrate the establishment and removal of the boxes 14 with a forklift (not shown). For insertion, the elevator will raise the casing to be raised to the appropriate level and then place it in the compartment by appropriate horizontal movement. For the establishment and removal of the boxes, simply remove the access cover 40 which covers the access opening at the receiving frame. The remainder of the rear part of the excavator can be released by means of a U-shaped removable hood element 42 which extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the excavator and whose free edges rest on the wall of the excavator. background in the example of the excavator shown. It should be noted that multiple modifications can be made to the invention, without departing from the scope thereof. Thus, the arrangement and configuration of the different parts of equipment can be done differently, provided always to provide, at the rear end of the body, a large space for battery compartment compartment, large enough to be able to achieve the counterweight function at the opposite end of the crane boom device of the machine according to the invention which could be of any type other than a backhoe. Since the rear part of the machine is configured to have a large battery housing space, the electric motor of the machine can have a high power and the battery device according to the invention gives the machine a considerable capacity. lifting. Since the machine is able to move on road and rail, the machine is a versatile, robust and adaptable construction machine. Thanks to the judicious arrangement of its components, the machine can be hybrid, that is to say include an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. Of course, the invention could also be an electric machine only.
Of course, multiple modifications can be made to the invention without departing from the scope of the invention. Thus, in place of the crane boom, any other lifting device can be used in the context of the invention, provided that it requires a counterweight to the rear, opposite to this device. The machine can also be a machine that is not mobile.
