Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a sanding unit having at least one base body and at least two suction channels that the base body receives at least in part.
STATE OF THE ART Such sanding units are already known. DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION The subject of the present invention is a sanding unit of the type defined above, characterized in that at least two suction channels are spaced a distance smaller than the smallest extension of two suction channels. Thus according to the invention, at least two suction channels have between them a distance less than the smallest extension of the two suction channels. The base body is preferably partially of paper, cardboard, film, sheet, fabric, fiber network or other technically interesting material. In the present context, the term "suction channel" refers in particular to an element which has at least one inner channel surface and at least in part a plane and preferably completely a plane surrounding at least one free space. Preferably, the suction channel arrives perpendicularly to a plane surrounded by the inner surface of the channel. Preferably, the suction channels at least partially remove the dust generated by the operation of the sanding unit and in particular they are provided in the working region of the sanding unit. In the present context, the expression "distance" in particular means the shortest path between the inner surfaces of the channel of two directly adjacent suction ducts. The term "smaller extension" in this context means the shortest path between two inner channel surfaces facing each other in at least two suction channels. The development according to the invention of the sanding unit can be done in a simple constructive manner allowing an efficient and particularly good vacuum extraction of the dust when the sanding unit is working.
According to another feature, at least one of the two suction channels has a polygonal section. The expression "polygonal section" designates in the present context a geometric figure, in particular two-dimensional, having a closed contour with at least three vertices. According to a preferred embodiment, at least one of the two suction channels has a regular polygonal section. But it is also conceivable that at least one of the two suction channels has at least one essentially round section and another technically interesting section, which allows a advantageously simple and economical manufacture of the sanding unit. According to another characteristic, at least the two suction channels have a hexagonal section. According to a particularly preferred development, at least one of the two suction ducts has a regular hexagonal section, which makes it possible to advantageously make the sanding unit advantageously simple and economical, and a preferably transparent arrangement from the point of view the bulk of at least two suction channels. In addition, a very stable base body is advantageously produced and the suction channels are effectively prevented from becoming clogged.
