Abstract

The method involves fixing an assembly element (1) with a profile (2) such that an external empty slit remains between a holding head (21) and a face (7) of the profile. A widened portion (11) of an oblong hole (10) bored in a wall (9) of another profile (3) and elongated according to a sliding motion direction (Y-Y'), is placed in line with the head. The wall is threaded on the element till reaching the slit. The latter profile is moved relative to the former profile to bring a tightened portion (12) of the hole to a level of the slit and to engage the wall with the holding head. The assembly element is made of polymer. An independent claim is also included for an assembly element.

Description

Avantageusement, la tige de fixation comporte un tronçon d'ancrage fileté.FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a method for assembling two sections. The invention also relates to an assembly member for use in such a method, of the type comprising a fixing rod to a first section and a retaining head of a second section. The fixing rod comprises a threaded anchor section in the first section and a support section between this threaded anchor section and the retaining head. State of the art In a common way of fixing two hollow sections to one another with the aid of one or more connecting members, these assembly members are installed after having positioned the two sections one by one. against each other. The connecting members may, for example, be screws provided for clamping the two sections against each other. Once such screws are in place, their heads at least remain visible, except when lids, caps or other additional masking accessories are reported in front of these heads. When fasteners other than screws are employed, the same problem of the visibility of these fasteners in the final assembly remains. The accessories reported for concealing fasteners in place can come off and be removed. lost, while they represent an additional cost and that their implementation involves an additional manual operation. In addition, although generally designed to have an appearance as close as possible to that of their home support, such installed accessories remain visually perceptible more or less clearly and form visible irregularities. The masking of fasteners with attachments is therefore not entirely satisfactory, at least in some cases. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is at least to provide a solution that solves the problem of unwanted visibility of assembly members in a more satisfactory manner, on one or more points, than the solution employing reported masking accessories. According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of an assembly method comprising steps in which: a) to a first section, an assembly member is fixed so that an empty outer slot remains between a head of constituent retention of the assembly member and a face of the first profile, b) at the right, that is to say in the axis of the retaining head, is placed an enlarged portion of a hole drilled in a wall of a second profile and oblong in a direction of sliding, c) the wall of the second section is threaded onto the fastener, to said slot, and d) the second section is moved in the direction of sliding, relative to the first section, so as to bring a constricted portion of the oblong hole at said slot and to hang the wall of the second section to the retaining head. The process defined above may incorporate one or more other advantageous characteristics, alone or in combination, in particular from those defined below. Advantageously, the assembly member comprises a fixing rod which carries the retaining head and which comprises a stop shoulder turned in the opposite direction to the retaining head. Preferably, in step a), the fixing rod is pressed into the first section until the stop shoulder abuts against the face of this first section. Advantageously, the fixing rod comprises a threaded anchor section.

Preferably, in step a), this threaded anchoring section is screwed into the first section. Advantageously, in step a), the stop shoulder is clamped against said face of the first section.

The invention also relates to an assembly member which is of the aforementioned type and where, between the threaded anchor section and the support section, the fastening rod has a depression-depressing shoulder of this rod. fixing in the first section, this stop shoulder being turned towards the threaded anchor section. Advantageously, the thread of the threaded anchor section goes at least up to the stop shoulder.

Advantageously, the assembly member is made of polymer.

OF THE DRAWINGS Other advantages and features will emerge more clearly from the following description of a particular embodiment of the invention given by way of nonlimiting example and represented in the appended drawings, among which: FIG. 1 is an exploded view, in perspective, of an assembly in which an assembly member according to the invention holds together two partially shown profiles, - FIG. 2 is a side view of the assembly member visible at the FIG. 3 is a section made transversely to a profile of FIG. 1, showing this profile and the assembly member of FIG. 1 and illustrates a step of an assembly process which is in accordance with FIG. invention and which is implemented to achieve the assembly of the same Figure 1, - Figure 4 is a section similar to Figure 3 and made along the horizontal plane IV of Figure 1.

OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 designates an assembly member of two hollow polymer barrier sections 2 and 3, which are partially represented for the sake of clarity. The profile 2 comprises an outer wall 4 which delimits an internal volume compartmentalized by longitudinal reinforcing partitions 5 and 6. The partitions 5 are parallel to an outer face 7 defined by the wall 4 and where a threaded hole 8 of axis XX opens 'transversal. This hole 8 is part of an alignment of three coaxial holes 8, the other two are drilled in the partitions 5, along the common axis X-X '. The three holes 8 are threaded in the same way, so that their respective threads succeed each other forming together a discontinuous tapping. In practice, the three holes 8 are tapped in one and the same operation.

The profile 3 has a generally similar overall configuration to that of the profile 2. Its outer wall 9 is pierced by an oblong hole 10, which is through and which is elongate in a direction YY 'rising and perpendicular to its drilling direction. This hole 10 comprises two portions which follow one another in the direction YY 'and which are an enlarged portion 11 of circular contour and a constricted portion 12, rectilinear in the direction YY' and higher than the enlarged portion 11. The direction YY 'd Elongation of the oblong hole 10 is also a relative sliding direction of the sections 2 and 3 relative to each other, as will be apparent later. As will have been understood, the oblong hole 10 is narrower at its constricted portion 12 than at its enlarged portion 11. The assembly member 1 is shown alone in FIG. general of a screw and comprises a fixing rod 20 and a retaining head 21, which carries one end of this fixing rod 20 and which defines a coupling conformation of a tool for rotating the organ assembly 1.

The fastening rod 20 has an intermediate stop shoulder 22 and two successive sections, namely an anchor section 23 and a support section 24 that this stop shoulder 22 interconnects. The anchoring section 23 is threaded over its entire length, starting from the leading end or front end 25 of the fixing rod 20. As can be seen in FIG. 2, its threading 26 reaches the stop shoulder 22, which is turned towards the front end 25. The support section 24 is located between the stop shoulder 22 and the retaining head 21, which connects them.

A l'issue de ce blocage, l'organe d'assemblage 1 est tel qu'illustré à la figure 3.The retaining head 21 is wider than the constricted portion 12 of the oblong hole 10, and narrower than its enlarged portion 11, in which it can pass. The assembly member 1 may be made of polymer, which is the case in the example described here. The assembly of the profiles 2 and 3 begins with the screwing of the anchoring section 23 into the holes 8. The depression caused by this screwing is stopped by the coming of the stop shoulder 22 abutting against the face 7. It is followed by a small additional screwing which makes a clamping of the stop shoulder 22 on the outer wall 4 of the profile 2 and, in doing so, a blocking of the assembly member 1. At the end of this blocking, the assembly member 1 is as shown in Figure 3.

Par exemple, elle peut également être employée pour l'assemblage de portails, ou bien la fixation de bardages ou de faux plafonds notamment.15In this FIG. 3, the retaining head 21 and the face 7 of the profile 2 are spaced apart from one another and delimit between them an empty or free slot 30 for receiving the edge of the constricted portion 12 of the oblong hole 10. The retaining head 21 is then passed through the wall 9, in the enlarged portion 11 of the oblong hole 10, so that the latter and the wall 9 are at the level of the slot 30 and the support section 24. Next , the profile 3 is lowered relative to the profile 2, being slid parallel to the elongation direction YY 'of the oblong hole 10, so that the constricted portion 12 of the oblong hole 10 is brought to the height of the support section 24 behind the retaining head 21, and that the edge of this constricted portion 12 is thus hooked to the retaining head 21. Once this is done, the assembly is completed and the assembly member 1 holds the profiles 2 and 3 together as shown in Figure 4. In Figure 4, the support section 24 supports the profile 3 whose weight acts in the direction of maintaining the constricted portion 12 of the oblong hole 10 behind the retaining head 21. The profile 3 is hooked to this retaining head 21, which is more precisely a fastening head. The invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. In particular, it finds application in cases other than that of the assembly of hollow profiles barrier or fence. For example, it can also be used for the assembly of gates, or the fixing of cladding or false ceilings.15
