Abstract

The device has a masonry insulating block formed of carrier elements (1, 3) and an insulating element (2), where the carrier elements are made of brick, cellular concrete, pumice stone or concrete block. The carrier elements are provided on outer sides of the insulating block, and the insulating element is provided on center of the insulating block. The carrier elements and the insulating element are connected together by a bond (5) or by naturally high adhesive characteristic of an insulator made of polyurethane foam.

Description

The present invention is an insulating block for masonry consisting of two support elements on the outer faces and an insulating element glued on the inside. Mono-insulating blocks are generally composed of a single material such as monomur brick or cellular concrete. These insulating blocks have the disadvantage of being limited in thermal performance. There are monomur blocks with integrated insulation. This insulation requires a mechanical fastening by means of legs, which create a thermal bridge, or the creation of specific blocks provided with pins necessary for securing the insulation. Finally there are blocks whose insulator is carrying with glued facings, whose mechanical strength is limited. The device according to the invention consists in creating a block from two materials: one heavy and hard which is said carrier on two outer parts and which provides the mechanical strength, the other much lighter and ensuring a certain rigidity that is said insulator on the inner part. The connection between the three elements (block insulating block) is obtained by gluing or by the naturally adhesive quality of the insulator preferably in polyurethane foam thus avoiding the mechanical connections between the outer block and the inner block, thus completely eliminating the thermal bridges created. by these links, and making it possible to manufacture this insulating block with several basic blocks already available on the market. According to the particular embodiments: -the or the supporting elements must provide sufficient mechanical strength, for that several materials can be used: breeze block, brick, cellular concrete, pumice, stone. or the supporting elements may be of several thicknesses depending on the height of the building to achieve, to obtain the necessary mechanical strength. the insulating elements are adhesive in nature, such as polyurethane foam. It is a material which ensures a very powerful bonding by its nature, and which also ensures the necessary rigidity. the insulating element may be of several thicknesses depending on the desired thermal performance.

45 The attached drawing illustrates the invention: Figure 1 is a sectional view from above the block consisting of two carrying parts on the outside and an insulating part glued to the middle. Figure 2 shows the insulation block in 3 dimensions. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises, on the outside, a block (1) for masonry, preferably with a male male socket (4) intended to receive the next block, in accordance with the laying rules in force. The insulating block comprises at its center an insulating element (2) bonded (5) to the carrier elements (1) (3). The insulating element measures the same height and the same length. Finally, the insulating block has on the inner side another carrier element (3) which may be of different thickness. It can be provided with a male male socket (4) intended to fit into the next and previous block. The insulating blocks thus formed are traditionally masonry mortar or mortar glue for so-called glued or thin joints, or glued with polyurethane glue. According to a variant not illustrated, the carrier elements (1) (3) may be of different thickness depending on the necessary mechanical strength and the desired thermal inertia in the building. For example, the outer support element (1) may be 5 cm thick and the inner carrier element (3) may be 15 cm thick, or vice versa. The insulating part (2) may be of different thickness depending on the desired thermal performance. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the construction of individual and collective housing, offices, especially when one needs high thermal performance. 45
