Description
The invention relates to a machine providing automated filling of tubular bottles with wine, as well as the installation and crimping of a capsule on closing the upper opening of these bottles once they have been filled. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The packaging of wine in tubular flasks having a volume of between fifty and one hundred milliliters makes it possible to market or to make sample wines of wine at a competitive cost. Such bottles are made of glass, they have a generally tubular shape comprising around their mouth a thread. The metal cap crimped around their threaded mouth constitutes a screw cap. In order to limit the oxidation of the wine contained in such flasks, it is necessary to ensure that the small volume of these flasks which is not filled with wine contains an inert gas such as nitrogen, which complicates the conditioning. Thus, the packaging requires filling the bottles of wine, to ensure that the unfilled volume of wine is filled with inert gas, to apply on the end of each bottle a capsule without removing the inert gas, and crimp this capsule. In addition, the need for certain wines to make their packaging at the château to mention the corresponding name on the bottle, is an additional constraint to the process implemented for packaging. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention thus relates to a wine packaging machine in tubular bottles sufficiently compact to be transportable in a van-type vehicle.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION To this end, the invention relates to a machine for filling and crimping tubular flasks, comprising a carousel for moving each tubular flask sequentially from one fixed station to another in order to successively fill it. capping a capsule on its mouth and crimping this capsule, this carousel comprising through vertical holes constituting housings in which the tubular flasks are engaged vertically, the machine comprising a fixed ramp located under the conveyor, each tubular flask placed in a housing having its lower end bearing on this ramp, and wherein this ramp has a crown portion shape so that each crimped bottle is removed from the carousel automatically by gravity effect as soon as it is moved beyond a so-called end output of this ramp. With this architecture, the treated bottles are extracted vertically from the carousel, which reduces the size of the machine, and this extraction does not require any additional mechanism, which significantly simplifies the machine. The invention also relates to a machine as defined above, wherein the ramp comprises a horizontal portion followed by a portion inclined relative to the horizontal to cause a partial descent of the tubular flasks before evacuation. The invention also relates to a machine as defined above, further comprising a curved guide rail having a vertical end connected to the lower end of the inclined portion of the ramp and the other end opens horizontally in a station fixed output. The invention also relates to a machine as defined above, wherein the curved guide rail 3 extends in a plane perpendicular to the conveying direction of the tubular flasks. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the filling machine according to the invention in its entirety with its supporting structure; Figure 2 is a perspective view of the filling machine according to the invention as a whole without its supporting structure; Figure 3 is a perspective view showing the vial loading member equipping the introduction station shown alone; Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the loading station of the tubular vials during the engagement of a vial; Figure 5 is a sectional side view of the encapsulation station capsules in the machine according to the invention; Figure 6 is a top view showing the inerting corridor and the carousel of the machine according to the invention; Figure 7 is a side view showing the descent tubular flasks at the inclined portion of the ramp in the machine according to the invention; Figure 8 is a top view of the machine according to the invention showing the carousel and the guide rail and the fixed output station. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The machine according to the invention, which is generally indicated by 1 in FIG. 1, comprises a frame 2 including a supporting structure 3 constituted by assembled beams delimiting a parallelepipedal enclosure carrying in its internal space a plate horizontal support marked by 4. This support plate 4 carries on the one hand a movable conveying member which is here a carousel 7, and on the other hand a set of actuators and equipment generally identified by 6, which are intended to ensure the filling of the vials, as well as the installation and setting-wise of a capsule on the filled vials. The carousel 7 which is rotatable about a vertical axis comprises a circular ring 8 including a series of housings 9 in the form of holes vertically traversing the ring, being regularly spaced from each other. Each hole 9 has an internal diameter slightly greater than the external diameter of the tubular flasks to be filled, so as to form a housing inside which such a bottle can be introduced. In FIGS. 1 and 2, there is shown such a bottle, indicated by 11, engaged in one of the housings 9 of carousel 7. The height of the crown 8 is less than the length of the tubular flasks 11 to be filled. By way of example, the height of the crown is about fifteen centimeters, while the total length of the tufted vials 11 is twenty centimeters. In addition to this rotary carousel 7, the support plate 4 carries a ramp 12 having a generally crown shape which is located under the carousel 7, facing the housings 9. A tubular bottle 11 engaged in a housing 9 has its lower end bears on this ramp 12, and this lower end slides on the surface of this ramp when the carousel rotates. In the example of the figures, this ramp 12 has a so-called horizontal portion, marked by 13, which runs along the lower face of the ring 8 about five eighths of its circumference, and a so-called inclined portion, marked by 14, which extends the horizontal portion extending about one eighth of a turn being also located opposite the housing 9 of the crown 8. The inclined portion 14 of the ramp 12 opens into an upper end of a rail 16. The upper end of the rail 16 is oriented vertically, and its lower end is oriented horizontally to open into an outlet station 17 receiving the vials filled and crimped. As shown in Figure 1, this output rail 16 has a generally curved shape describing a quarter circle, it extends in a radial plane relative to the axis of rotation of the carousel, and it has a U-shaped section. The flasks 11 to be filled and crimped are loaded one after the other in the housings 9 of the crown 8, by an operator located at a fixed loading station 18 which is located substantially outside the door. enclosure delimited by the parallelepipedic carrier structure 3.
Specifically, the carousel 8 is offset so that part of its crown 9 protrudes laterally from the parallelepipedal space delimited by the supporting structure 3. The loading station 18 is located above the crown portion protruding laterally, which allows an ergonomic layout of the operator's station, notably ensuring that the operator does not have access to the internal components of the machine. In the example of Figure 1, the carrier structure 3 is partially shown and without cladding, but in practice, it is dressed by a sheet assembly to form a roughly closed space of which only the loading station 18 and the post output 17 are accessible from the outside. In operation, an operator installed at the station 18 engages a new bottle to be filled in a housing 9 of the carousel 7 at each rotation step of this carousel, the carousel being rotated sequentially, that is to say not -to-no. Each bottle carried by carousel 7 then goes to a station 19 for cleaning and filling wine. When a flask 11 has been filled with wine at station 19, the subsequent displacement of a rotation step of carousel 7 immediately engages this flask in an enclosure or inerting corridor, identified by 21. A capsule is then hooded around the upper end of this bottle, in the corridor 21, this operation being thus provided under an inert atmosphere, at a station marked by 22. The bottle then leaves the inerting corridor 21 to be presented at a crimping station 23 , where a crimping head surrounds the capsule to crimp it around the externally threaded upper end of the bottle. When the crimping operation has been performed, the carousel continues to turn stepwise to route the treated bottle to the rail 16 for evacuation to the exit station 17, which corresponds to the end of the conditioning operation.
As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the station 18 for loading the tubular bottles into the carousel 7 comprises a loading member indicated by 24, which is carried by a frame, not shown, so as to be situated above the part the carousel 7 protruding laterally from the parallelepipedal structure 3. As can be seen in FIG. 3, this loading member 24 comprises a plate 26 by which it is rigidly fastened to its support frame, this plate 26 carrying on its upper face a base 27, and a bracket 28 extending vertically upwards relative to the base 28. Complementarily, the plate 26 carries at its underside a guide tube 29 facing downwards. The base 27 and the plate 26 are pierced with a vertical through hole 25, of diameter substantially greater than that of the tubular flasks to be loaded, and unclogging in the guide tube 29, the assembly overhanging the path of passage of housings 9 of the rotary carousel 7.
The loading of a tubular bottle 11 thus consists in engaging it in the hole 25 to lower it into the housing 9 located directly above this hole. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the lower ramp 12 comprises, directly above the loading station 18, a damping member or platen, indicated by 31, and damping the shock of the bottle 11 at the end of the descent, for prevent it from breaking. Once the tubular bottle 11 is resting on the upper face of the damping member 31, its upper end is disengaged from the guide tube 29, so that the carousel 7 can be controlled to advance a step by rotation to load the next bottle. The loading member 24 is also a polarizer ensuring that a bottle can not be loaded into the carousel 7 with its opening downwards. For this purpose, the upper end of the bracket 28 is spaced from the upper face 32 of the base 27 of a distance substantially greater than the length of the tubular flasks to be filled, and this upper end carries a finger or pin 33 located vertically above the vertical hole 25 and extending downwards. The distance separating the lower end of the finger 33 and the upper face 32 of the base 27 is slightly greater than the length of the tubular flasks to be filled. Under these conditions, the only possibility to engage a tubular bottle 11 in the vertical hole of the base 27 is to engage the mouth of this tubular bottle around the finger 33, to be able to place the lower end of this bottle over the 25. In practical terms, an operator attempting to engage the bottle in the hole 25 by placing its blind end at the top would be constrained by the presence of the finger 33 to orient this bottle too obliquely to allow it to descend into the hole 25 which extends vertically. The cleaning and filling station 19 comprises two downwardly directed nozzles being respectively located vertically above two consecutive housings 9 when the carousel 7 is stationary. The first nozzle blows air to clean the inside of the flask, and the second nozzle fills the wine fiason by jointly releasing a jet of wine and a stream of inert gas such as nitrogen forming a sheath around it. from this stream of wine. This nitrogen sheath limits the oxidation of the wine during filling, and ensures that the upper portion of the vial that is not filled with wine is filled essentially with nitrogen at the end of filling. The crimping of a capsule on the upper opening of each tubular flask is ensured in two successive operations: at the station 22, a capsule is placed and capped on the upper opening, and at the station 23, a crimping head comes crimp the capsule around the top opening. The encapsulation of the capsule is performed in the inert enclosure 21, which has a generally arcuate corridor shape surrounding a portion of the crown 8, about a quarter turn. This corridor 21 comprises at its entrance and exit, two swinging doors that open when an upper end of the bottle bears on them during the movement of the carousel, and close after passage of this bottle. This corridor 21 is overpressurized with inert gas such as nitrogen, so as to maintain an oxygen level as low as possible, nitrogen being continuously blown into this corridor.
As shown diagrammatically in FIG. 5, the station 22 comprises a chute 34 for conveying the capsules situated above the corridor 21 and opening therein through its upper face, at a capping zone marked by 36. Between each movement of a step of the carousel, a capsule, not shown, is automatically conveyed in the chute, to the capping zone 36 which corresponds substantially to the lower end of the chute 34. The capsule stops then at the lower end of the chute 34, at the same time as a nitrogen jet is applied to it inert, by means of one or more nitrogen blowing nozzles located in the encapsulation zone 36. Given the shape of the chute 34 and stop means which equip its lower end, each capsule is immobilized with its opening pointing downwards, and having the lowest point of its circular lower edge locatedsubstantially below the upper edge of the tubular flasks.
At this stage, when the carousel is controlled to be moved one step, the vial 11 located immediately upstream of the capsule immobilized at the lower end of the chute 34 abuts against the cylindrical in-dull face of the capsule. This movement has the effect of unhooking this capsule from the chute 34, and to engage it around the upper end of the bottle to cap it. When the encapsulated tubular bottle reaches the crimping station 23, after having left the inerted corridor 21, the crimping head surrounds the upper end of the flask with the capsule that carries it, and crimps the cylindrical wall portion of this capsule around the threaded upper end of the tubular bottle.
Once the flasks have been filled with wine and crimped, at stations 19, 22, and 23, they are evacuated to the outlet station 17. For this purpose, the ramp portion 14 which is located in the vicinity of the station 17 allows tubular flasks to gradually descend housing 9 they occupy in the carousel 7, as shown schematically in Figure 7. The highest end of the oblique portion 14 of the ramp 12 is located at the same height as the horizontal portion 13 of this ramp 12, that is to say about one centimeter below the lower face 33 of the ring 8. The lowest end of this oblique portion 14, which corresponds to the output end of the ramp 12, is spaced from the lower face 33 by a distance substantially equal to half the length of the tubular flasks 11. The lower end of the oblique portion 14 of the ramp 12 opens at the level of the upper end of the guide rail 16. When a tubular bottle 11 moved by the carousel 7 reaches the lower end of the oblique portion 14, it engages in the curved rail 16 having already been at least halfway down its housing 9, without have acquired vertical speed. Under these conditions, the complete disengagement of the bottle from its housing 9 requires that it falls vertically on only half of its length, which makes it possible to limit the speed of the bottle when it is discharged into the guide rail 16. In the example of the figures, the lower end of the oblique portion 14 is separated from the lower face of the ring 8 by a distance of about half the length of the tubular bottle. But other values can be adopted, as they reduce the vertical velocity of the bottle during its evacuation by limiting the vertical movement necessary to its complete release of the housing it occupies. The invention notably provides the following advantages: Thanks to the ramp 12 with its exit end, the flasks are evacuated vertically from the carousel, which significantly reduces the lateral bulk of the machine while ensuring evacuation of the flasks. without additional mobile mechanism. The inclination of the ramp at its outlet end limits the rate of fall of the bottles during their evacuation. The implementation of a filling of the flasks with a jet of liquid surrounded by an inert gas sheath, associated with an inerting corridor whose inlet adjoins the filling station ensures that the oxygen content in the volume Filled vials are extremely dead when they are in the inerting lane. Complementarily, the inerting of each capsule before capping on the mouth of the vials makes it possible to reach an extremely low oxygen level in the dead volume once the capsule has been crimped.
