Ce véhicule comporte un siège conducteur avant (non représenté), un siège passager avant 5 (représenté en position dossier rabattu vers l'avant) disposé à côté du siège conducteur, et une partie coffre arrière 7 destinée à l'espace de chargement du véhicule. Le siège passager avant 5 est rabattable avec sa face arrière 9 venant dans le plan de la partie coffre 7. Une cloison 11 est ménagée entre les sièges conducteur et passager avant 5 et le coffre 7. Cette cloison 11 peut avoir une hauteur variable, par exemple celle des dossiers de sièges conducteur et passager 5. Elle est pourvue en outre d'une trappe 13, par exemple montée coulissante horizontalement au moyen de glissières 15 sur le plan de la cloison 11 et découvrant ou fermant une ouverture rectangulaire 17 ménagée en regard de la face arrière 9 du dossier de siège passager avant 5. Cette ouverture 17 est découpée au niveau du plan de la partie coffre 7 à une largeur légèrement supérieure à celle du siège du passager avant 5. Sa hauteur est un peu inférieure à celle du dossier de siège passager avant 5. Un dispositif de tiroir 19 est monté coulissant dans le plan de la partie coffre 7 et sur la face arrière 9 du dossier de siège passager 5 en position rabattue. Ce dispositif 19 comporte trois cassettes identiques 21 logeant des articles de courrier et reliées l'une à l'autre à forme de train. Il coulisse par exemple en roulement (de façon connue....) sur deux rails parallèles 23, 23' s'étendant respectivement de façon continue sur le plan de la partie coffre 7 et sur la face arrière 9 du dossier du siège avant rabattu 5 et fixés sur ceux-ci. Le chemin de guidage du dispositif de tiroir 19 est donc rectiligne, centré sur l'ouverture 17 de la trappe 13, laquelle à l'ouverture découvre un passage suffisant pour le transfert du dispositif de tiroir 19 de la partie coffre 7 à la face arrière 9 rabattue du dossier de siège avant 5 comme on le voit à la figure 2. L'ouverture 17 de la trappe est en effet de dimensions légèrement supérieures à celles de la section transversale des cassettes 21, montées sur leurs rails de guidage 23, 23'. De plus, les rails 23 s'étendent jusqu'au bord arrière du coffre 7 de sorte que le dispositif de tiroir 19 est apte à être tiré à l'arrière, un peu au-delà du seuil arrière 25 du coffre 7 du véhicule pour faciliter son chargement. Un dispositif de frein à mâchoires monté sur le dispositif de tiroir (non représenté), en prise sur les rails 23, 23', permet de verrouiller le positionnement des positions du dispositif de tiroir 19 dans le véhicule, à savoir : une position de transport (figure 1) où il est disposé dans la partie coffre 7, trappe 13 fermée ; une position de distribution (figure 2) où il est largement positionné sur la face arrière 9 de dossier du siège passager avant 5 rabattu (par deux cassettes 21) ; et une position de chargement (figure 3) où il est reculé au-delà du seuil arrière 25 de la partie coffre. Le dispositif de frein libéré ou engagé sert par ailleurs de dispositif anti-basculement des cassettes 21, les mâchoires solidaires des cassettes étant alors en retenue verticale à faible jeu sur les rails de guidage 23, 23'.
